YHK International Logistics Corporation, formerly known as YHK Shipping Inc., traces its beginnings to August 1997, when the successors of Benito Yao Haw Kun (from whom the company derives its name) decided to forge a partnership.
Originally functioning as a Customs Broker, Ship Agency, and Integrated Shipping Services provider, majority of YHK’s load was comprised of meeting the shipping requirements of SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation, the number one steel company in the Philippines.
Under the leadership of Perry Yao, YHK has been responsible for the fast withdrawal of SteelAsia’s cargo whether in Bulk, FCL, or LCL shipments at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Manila International Container Port (MICP), Manila South Port (pier or anchorage), Port of Batangas, Port of Cebu, Port of Davao, and Port of Cagayan De Oro. YHK’s record of withdrawing 20,000MT of steel billets in just four days is one of the highest in the Port of Manila.
YHK now offers additional logistics services to its clients. It has come a long way since its inception, and it has only just begun.
